June has arrived, and with it come three new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. If you have a PlayStation Plus Essential subscription, you can download these titles starting today.
What’s Available This Month? This month, you can download SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4. These games are available for both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake (PS5/PS4) The fabric of the universe is in jeopardy, and portals to wild wish worlds might open up, thanks to the wish-granting mermaid tears. But, of course, SpongeBob and Patrick are on the case, right?
On Metacritic, the PS4 version of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake has a score of 70, with most reviews being fairly average.
“SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a colorful, creative, and fun platformer that will keep any fan of the yellow sponge entertained for hours,” writes Power Unlimited. “Despite the repetitive side missions and weaponry, exploring the seven absurd and recognizable dimensions is a joy for both young and old.”
“SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is a decent 3D platformer with all the SpongeBob humor you’d expect, but it feels like a step back compared to the much more imaginative Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated,” says TheSixthAxis. “The lack of alternate characters or costume abilities really hurts, as does the very linear level design, leaving you with some fun but also a general sense of disappointment.”
As we can see, while SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake brings the beloved characters and humor of the series, it may not live up to the expectations set by its predecessors. The game offers a mix of colorful and creative environments, but the linear gameplay and lack of character variety might leave some players wanting more.
