Arlecchino, a 5-Star Pyro character in Genshin Impact, made her debut in version 4.6. Wielding a polearm and bringing a bold, aggressive playstyle to the battlefield, Arlecchino stands out as a powerful DPS who thrives without the need for traditional healing support. She’s currently featured on her limited banner, “The Hearth’s Ashen Shadow,” in version 5.3 — though she’s expected to return in future banners.

If you’re planning to build Arlecchino or preparing for a future rerun, here’s a comprehensive overview of her kit, required materials for leveling and talents, and a breakdown of her unique mechanics and Constellations.

Arlecchino’s Combat Kit

Arlecchino specializes in high-impact Pyro damage and leverages a unique mechanic called the Bond of Life. This bond not only enhances her offensive capabilities but also interacts directly with her healing and cooldown mechanics.

Basic Profile:

  • Element: Pyro

  • Rarity: 5-Star

  • Weapon: Polearm

Normal Attack – Invitation to a Beheading:
Performs up to six consecutive spear strikes. Her charged attack consumes stamina as she dashes toward a nearby enemy with a powerful slash. Holding the charge longer allows for high-speed movement for up to three seconds.

When Arlecchino’s Bond of Life reaches 30% or more of her max HP, she enters the Masque of the Red Death state. In this mode, her normal, charged, and plunging attacks all deal Pyro damage, which cannot be overridden. These attacks scale with her Bond of Life and consume 7.5% of its current value every 0.03 seconds. Every time it’s consumed, the cooldown of her Elemental Skill, All is Ash, is reduced by 0.8 seconds.

Elemental Skill – All is Ash:
Arlecchino unleashes Balemoon Bloodfire, dealing Pyro damage in a small area, dashing to a target, and marking enemies with Blood-Debt Directives. These last 30 seconds and deal Pyro damage twice over ten seconds. When she uses a charged attack or her Elemental Burst, these directives are absorbed and grant her a Bond of Life worth 65% of her max HP per directive.

She can gain up to 145% of her max HP through these directives within 35 seconds of using All is Ash. Recasting the skill resets this time and healing cap.

Elemental Burst – Balemoon Rising:
Arlecchino spreads her fiery wings, absorbing Blood-Debt Directives nearby and dealing AOE Pyro damage. It resets the cooldown of her Elemental Skill and heals her based on her current Bond of Life and attack stat.

Passive Talents

  1. The Balemoon Alone May Know:
Grants a 40% Pyro damage bonus while in combat. During this state, Arlecchino can only be healed via Balemoon Rising.

  2. Agony Alone May Be Repaid:
When defeating enemies marked with her directive, she gains a Life Bond worth 130% of her max HP. After five seconds, any Blood-Debt Directive turns into a Blood-Debt Due, also granting a Bond of Life worth 130% upon absorption. However, the total cannot exceed limits set by All is Ash.

  3. Strength Alone Can Defend:
For every 100 attack points above 1000, Arlecchino gains 1% All Elemental and Physical Resistance (up to 20% each).

Ascension and Talent Materials

To fully unleash Arlecchino’s potential, you’ll need to collect a range of materials, particularly various Insignias and Order-themed items. As she has three upgradable Talents, you’ll need three full sets of these materials to max out her entire kit.

Some of the essential Talent items include:

  • Lieutenant’s Insignia

  • Blood-Debt materials (specific to her domain)

  • Talent books and weekly boss drops

Proper farming and resource planning are key to unlocking her full potential, especially if you’re aiming to use her at higher levels or in Spiral Abyss content.
